Gold coins are not only great for your collection but they also make a great investment. One of the best places to invest your money is in precious metals and gold coins not only hold their coin value but also the current value of gold.

Gold coins have been made since the begriming. They were some of the first coins ever made. Collecting gold coins can be difficult due to the wide variety of coins available. It can also get expensive as some of these gold coins sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

For investment purposes here is an example of why gold is a good idea. In 1792 gold was worth just over nineteen dollars an ounce. At the time of this writing gold is worth around $1060 an ounce. You can do the math.
