This section is not about
silver dollars. We have a whole separate section
for those and they deserve it. This section is
about the more modern dollar coins.
There are several newer
types of dollar coins available. There have been
some errors found on these new dollars. These
error coins are extremely rare and extremely valuable.
You do not want to drop any of these into a slot
machine or a wish fountain! Pay your bills, Foxy
Bingo games and restaurant dinners with ordinary
cash! If you miss one these treasures you could
regret it. They are rare, but you never know.
One such instance was a Sacagawea dollar that
is normal on one side but has a quarter imprinted
on the other. Another such instance was found
by a bank teller. She found a presidential dollar
that was stamped just off center. She sold this
coin to a private collector for a lot of money.
Keeps yours eyes open for these coins as they
are very rare but are in circulation.
